Transportation:
- Ex Works (EXW) Conditions: All sales are conducted under Ex Works (EXW) terms. This means that once the goods are made available at our premises,
the buyer assumes responsibility for transportation, including arranging pickup, freight, insurance, and any necessary permits or documentation required for export. - Transportation Arrangements: It is the buyer's responsibility to arrange transportation for the purchased goods.
We can provide assistance and guidance regarding transportation options and recommendations for reliable freight carriers if needed. - Failure to Collect or Provide Adequate Instructions: If the buyer fails to collect the order within the delivery terms set out in the Invoice, or fails to provide adequate instructions to Spectrum Center for delivery, Spectrum Center shall have the right to be reimbursed by the buyer for all costs incurred in storing the order.
- Risk of Loss or Damage: The risk of loss or damage to the goods transfers from the seller to the buyer once the goods are made available at our premises.
It is advisable for the buyer to procure appropriate insurance coverage to mitigate any potential risks during transit. - Packaging: We take utmost care in packaging our timber and wood materials to ensure safe transportation. However, it is the buyer's responsibility to inspect the goods upon receipt and notify us immediately of any visible damages or discrepancies.
