Stratifed wood

Stratifed wood

Laminated elements are mainly used in manufacturing door and window frames. They are obtained by gluing together two or more lamellae under well-defined temperature and pressure conditions. Laminated wood beams are the best choice when excellent strength is required. The purpose of laminating wood is to eliminate internal stresses within the wood fibers, stresses that often cause structural changes, leading to warping, bending, and loss of original dimensions. Therefore, this process gives the beams the best qualities.
